Mullum Junior Summer Sixes Soccer

Stay active. Build confidence. Lasting friendships. Unlimited fun.

Where community kids are encouraged to play, compete, grow and have fun!

15th October - 10th December 2025

Wednesdays, 5:00-7:30pm

Pine Ave Ovals, MULLUMBIMBY

Welcome to the ultimate family-friendly summer experience for our Shire-community-kids who are keen to play ‘street-style-soccer’ and have a blast.

Our competition is open to players aged 6–14, with divisions based on skill level to ensure fair and balanced games. No matter their experience level, every child is welcome and encouraged to participate.

Teams need a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 players.

All leagues are 6 v 6 (including the goalkeeper) played on a quarter pitch sized field.

Results are not recorded but playing pools are adjusted based on game results ie: teams winning consistently may be moved into a more challenging pool, and other teams may be moved into an easier pool.

Focus is on fun and play, where kids make the bulk of the decisions on the field with limited guidance from parents.

A team manager (parent) is required to register the team, for ongoing communications and general coordination.

At Mullumbimby junior Summer 6s, we know that the support of family is key to making sports fun for young players. That's why our competition is designed to be a family event, where parents, siblings, and friends can come together to cheer on the teams and picnic together on the side of the fields.

Insurance

Mullum Soccer has teamed up with NSW Sporting Injuries Insurance Scheme, established by the NSW Government to provide an insurance scheme for sporting activities, to provide insurance cover for Mullum Soccer Six-a-Side. You can read more about the NSW Sporting Injuries Insurance Scheme here.

However, similar to sports insurance cover during the regular soccer season, relatively light injuries such as twisted ankles, broken hands etc. are not covered. We therefore recommend that players also take out their own personal insurance to ensure cover for all instances and circumstances that you would like to be covered for.

To read more about the cover that the NSW Sporting Injuries Insurance Scheme provides, download their pdf file here or read under the above mentioned page under Benefits.

To make a claim, follow the instructions in this page, under Benefits.

Feel free to contact NSW Sporting Injuries in case you have any questions about the scheme:
